London Jam & Dram 2013, 12-5pm
Whisky + Music + Shoreditch
Now whether you listen to your favourite track on a gramaphone or on a flashy Bose system, who doesn’t like kicking back with their favourite tipple and throwing on some tunes?
No one! that’s who!
This event is the first of it’s kind and is a splicing together of The Whisky Lounge and the guys at Cask Strength Creative, bringing together what we do and love best, whisky festivals and live music! Rippling melodies, a kaleidoscope of flavour and the collective imagination of 200-300 people will be the building blocks of this monumental event.
Here’s the jist of it…
We’ll be showing you the skills and intricacies of whisky making through the medium of music. 3 whisky industry bands will be playing their various styles of groove and using their instruments to help unravel the whisky in your hand.
We’ll also be giving people the opportunity to walk their way through the world of blending, try a number of cracking blends and vote for their favourite, as well as try their very hands at blending their own whisky, with prizes for the best creation and name.
The doors open at 12pm and close at 5pm with a total of roughly two hours live music throughout the show. The rest of the time being free to mill about the stands and take in some of the very best drams the industry has to offer.
Each ticket includes….
- 1 x Glencairn nosing glass
- 1 x Bottle of water
- All your whiskies sampled throughout the day
- A mini of the blend represented on the day TBC
By getting involved you’re going to be part of this ambitious and exciting new venture and will have access to over 100 different whiskies which are all available to taste within your ticket price! (There is no catch)
